I can remember a different kind of fries at the Frost Top in Metairie. It was made from a batter and came out of at large stainless container that hung over the hot oil. They would open the bottom and several thick rows of batter would drop into the oil. They were crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside. I have never found anything like them anywhere else. What were they called? Does anyone know where something like them can be found?

Yes im the Blackhole my brother described... When discussing FrosTop think about a decent burger that benefit's from the accessories that come withit. Between the whole 50's diner atmosphere and the GREAT root beer.. your a little to distracted to notice eating a good burger.

Unless you plan on workin on drinking a milkshake over the course of about a 2 hours.. Order a regular.

I thought this burger was very good. My "lotaburger" came with a seeded bun that was nice and soft and the chocolate milkshake I got with it only made it better. Overall I was very happy with my burger especially at the price. I plan on going back, the atmosphere is great.
