If I could be so bold as to recommend The Dock St. Burger Company at Leny's Place and Fat Albert's. They are essentially a kitchen that is in two different bars that do burgers. The Dock St. Burger has been voted best in Seattle as well. I am partial to the Little Leny Special though. http://twitpic.com/bn6rt Anyway it's pretty good. Also check out Two Bells Tavern in Belltown (reviewed by AHT). Interesting take on a burger and very good.

I would have to agree with the write up on Red Mill Burgers. I was a bit underwhelmed by their burger. I prefer a little more meat to bun ratio, not a lot more meat but a little more would make a big difference. Also I prefer a bit more browning, preferably from charcoal grilling. I also remember tasting mostly bun. I know Red Mill takes the time to carefully prepare their burgers, but I think they could stand to up the ante with a bigger patty and get more browning on the meat.

Although I'm not big fan of super flat patties, the red mill sauce they put on most of the burgers was pretty good. I think that made the burger.
