I’M A REGULAR CUSTOMER HERE. I’VE BEEN EATING AT SAM’S FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH CASHIERS OR WITH BURGERS. I USUALLY GET A MUSHROOM SWISS BURGER AND ITS ALWAYS BEEN AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TIME. WE ALL HAVE A BAD DAY ONCE AND ITS NOT FAIR TO TAKE IT ON THE EMPLOYEES JUST BECAUSE WE WANT TO BE PICKY. Crabby order taker. Almost like they wished you hadn’t come in. Unwilling to substitute sausage for bacon on breakfast combo. Snappy’s is way friendlier, much better service, and are actually glad you are there and use silverware instead of plastic for les $$.

Sam’s really surprised me. It looked like any other strip mall food restaurant, but the burger was pretty good. I wasn’t even that hungry and I ate all of it. The workers are so nice and seem eager to please. I asked, “are the onions raw or grilled”, and the waitress said, “we can grill them if you want”. That’s what I like to hear. The fries were crispy and seasoned just right. I don’t know if their meat/fries are frozen, but it was good anyway.

I liked Sam’s, but it’s time for a beef intervention. An upgrade to fresh, never-frozen beef would easily elevate their status and, with their proximity to my house, make me a regular customer. However, their milkshakes and aggressive pricing will get me back in the door quickly.
